EXCELLENT Based on 42 reviews Posted on Google Mark NuttallTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a solar upgrade to our motorhome, with batteries from lithium pro. We installed two, 24v 280ah batteries. Which gave us a 12v equivalent of 2x280=560 ×2 batteries. 1120 Ah. The system works like a dream. We run the fridge. The heating. All electric cooking. Starlink and all the vehicle lights and tvs etc... no problem. We can monitor the batteries via the smartiq app and they also integrated into our vitron system, so we can see exactly how they are charging, and the system is running. Great bits of kit. Highly recommended. M.N. See our full system onYou tube channel . Nuts on tour. A great product and the app to monitor the health of the battery is a real game changer.Posted on Google ian bryanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After loads of research with regards to upgrading to Lithium, my biggest concern was having to completely change the charging system. I found the LithiumPro stand at the recent NEC show and I am so glad I did. Glen explained the difference between the cheaper batteries and also with the battery I was considering my original charging equipment should be able to cope. Overall Glen explained his product in the type of detail I needed to make my decision and bought a battery, even though it cost a lot more than I intended to spend. The quality and support is excellent and the installation was AGM out and Lithium in, no mods, etc. All seems to be working fine. I did have an issue with the App, but my fault. Glen was at the end of the phone and guided me through the connection process. I should have read the instructions. Overall really pleased with my purchase and the quality of the product is excellent. Its performing well and taken away the battery anxiety. Its also great to be able to speak to a person at the manufactuer if there is a problem. The battery fuse protects the wiring — not the devices connected to them. When replacing lead-acid batteries with lithium (LiFePO4), a suitably rated primary battery fuse is essential. Its critical role is to protect the system from catastrophic short-circuit events. Unlike lead-acid batteries, LiFePO4 cells have extremely low internal resistance and in a dead-short scenario the battery can release many thousands of amps almost instantaneously for a split second. Without adequate protection, this can vaporise cables, potentially resulting in fire. This means the fuse protecting your old lead-acid battery is no longer suitable. It will need replacing. You are likely to have a MEGA, MIDI or a BLADE fuse which are not appropriate for protecting Lithium batteries. MEGA, MIDI or BLADE fuses are ideal for use with Lead-acid batteries and protecting loads from chargers. But they do not have the right blowing characteristics to protect your system from the power of a lithium battery.
LithiumPro Batteries have very powerful and advanced Battery Management Systems (BMS) that are designed to protect against short circuit, reverse polarity and over current scenarios but this is NO substitute for having a correctly sized mechanical primary battery fuse in a dead short scenario.
Its critical the fuse has a fast-acting element and the appropriate Ampere Interrupt Capacity (AIC) designed to blow quickly and safely opening the circuit so the current can no longer flow. High quality MEGA and MIDI fuses only have a maximum AIC rating of 2000A which is not high enough to support lithium systems.
For safety and compliance, only use reputable fuse brands such as Blue Sea, Bussmann, Littelfuse, Mersen or Siemens with high AIC capacity ≥6000A. Never use cheap fuse alternatives from market places without datasheets. Original Equipment fuses will have the specification marked on the fuse itself. – High quality fusing is the most safety critical component in your whole electrical system.
Want to understand more about fusing READ MORE in our Essential Guide to Fusing Lithium Batteries
For our drop-in-replacement range of batteries with capacities up to 180AH we recommend the MRBF fuse kits as they can be secured directly to the positive battery terminal which offers the safest approach – by not leaving any cable exposed without being fused. They also have a high AIC rating of 10,000A which is essential to protect your system. Given the ‘drop-in-replacement’ range are often placed in height sensitive locations an ANL fuse & holder would also be an suitable alternative as long as it has and AIC rating of ≥ 6000A. Always check the fuses manufacturers datasheet for the Ampere Interrupt rating.
For our larger capacity batteries such as the 460AH-650AH we only recommend using a Class T or NH fuses.
Ensure you protect your lithium battery and the system by adding a high-quality primary battery fuse with the a suitable interrupt capacity. IMPORTANT: Only use notable brand fuses and not cheap fuses from various online market places.
Harness the suns endless supply of free energy with solar panels and using a 'MPPT' 'Charge Controller to charge your battery
Charge your battery by connecting to the grid. Fit a 'MAINS' Charger that supplies a regulated voltage.
Capture the surplus power created by your vehicles alternator by fitting a 'DC-DC' Charger

Is our free technical support program designed to assist LithiumPro customers with their battery installation. Ensuring their batteries are setup safely and efficiently to run their off-grid system. We appreciate it is a complex field to navigate, batteries, fuses, chargers etc. If you need help designing your system, installing your battery safety to your existing electrical system, or you just require help configuring your chargers to a LithiumPro battery. When you are ready to Install we will be here to support. If installation is not for you - we have an approved list of Authorised installers ready to do the work for you. Here at LithiumPro Energy, we pride ourselves on delivering products of the highest quality, backed by rigorous testing and internationally recognised certification.
All SMARTCOMM SERIES batteries have undergone full ECE R10 certification, including assessment of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and our manufacturing processes under Conformity of Production (CoP). This ensures every battery produced consistently meets the same high standards as the originally tested units. As a result, our products carry the E-mark (E24) approval, demonstrating compliance with European automotive regulations.
E-mark certification is essential for vehicle manufacturers and converters operating under Whole Vehicle Type Approval, providing confidence that our batteries can be integrated into compliant electrical systems without compromising safety or performance.
In addition to ECE R10, all LithiumPro Energy products are designed and tested to meet relevant UK and EU regulatory requirements, including UKCA, CE, RoHS, EMC, and RED directives, ensuring full legal compliance for sale and installation across these markets.
At cell level, we exclusively use high-grade LiFePO₄ prismatic cells sourced directly from Tier 1 manufacturers. These cells are certified to internationally recognised safety standards including UL1642, UL1973, and UL9540A, validating their performance in areas such as electrical safety, thermal stability, and fire propagation resistance.
To maintain full traceability and quality assurance, all cells are procured directly from manufacturers rather than through third-party distributors.
Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries are classified as Class 9 hazardous materials for transport. Therefore, all LithiumPro Energy batteries are tested and certified to UN38.3, ensuring they meet strict requirements for safe transportation by road, rail, and sea, including packaging, handling, and labelling standards.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Before use read & follow instructions provided by the manufacturer.
• Always fuse your lithium battery with an appropriate battery fuse with a high interrupt capacity threshold. LithiumPro Energy recommends MRBF fuses with an AIC of ≥ 10,000A
• Do not expose the battery to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
• Do not install lithium batteries in engine bay locations. They are not suitable to operate in such extreme temperatures.
• Do not disassemble the battery. Opening the battery will VOID the warranty
• Do not short circuit the battery.
• Store the battery in a well ventilated area.
• Use a recommended DC-DC charger if charging from alternator sources set to (LiFePO4) profile.
