RETURNS POLICY

14 DAY RETURNS

We hope you enjoy our high quality products, however, should you wish to return a product you should notify us of your intention to do so within 14 days of the date of placing your order via email at  returns@lithiumpro.co.uk stating the reason for your return and attach your original ‘Proof of purchase’.  

All products must be returned in their original Class 9, UN38.3 certified packaging, with all the relevant labelling attached, supporting documentation and accessories enclosed and in 100% saleable condition as you would have received.  You must provide your ‘Proof of Purchase’ before any return can be processed for collection. 

All batteries will be inspected for use, damage and the data from the BMS will be downloaded and checked for any activity prior to any refunds being actioned.  Any signs of ware & tear or damage to the packaging, accessories or accompanied documentation will be subject to a minimum of 20% restocking/re-packaging fee.

All goods returned will be at the cost of the purchaser.

Pease note that “free delivery” is a £50 subsidy provided by LithiumPro Energy. If you return a battery purchased with free delivery, this £50 delivery subsidy will be deducted from your refund.

If you return items in breach of our above policy, we may refuse a refund altogether or reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 20% of the original order value, plus the original £50 hazardous carriage fee incurred by the seller when shipping to you.

Any Refund will be only made to original purchaser and is subject to the above criteria and providing proof of purchase. 

EASY RETURNS

Under UK law, Lithium batteries are classified as Class 9 hazardous goods and must be transported under the strict packaging, labelling, and documentation requirements of ADR regulations. We understand how complex and time-consuming this can be, so we offer an Easy Returns collection service: once you’ve completed our RMA form (downloadable here)  we’ll dispatch a certified courier to collect your parcel and ship it back to us under our insurance cover.

Please note if you chose to use our Easy Returns Service, the handling, documentation, and insured collection incurs a fee of £50.  This will be on top of the  seller’s original hazardous carriage fee of £50 for when it was originally shipped to you. So do make sure you are confident you are ordering the correct product before you place your order. 

If a product is being returned as a result of an incorrect order, we will not be liable for original postage costs or any return postage costs. Should you wish to use our secure, and insured hazardous returns service a fee of £50 will be deducted from your refund, along with the sellers original shipping fee of £50 less any restocking fees that may apply. 

When returning products we will ask you to send images of all 4 sides and the top of the product before it is repackaged and images once it is repacked before you return it to us.  We will also ask you to email us a copy of the ‘STATUS‘ screen in the SMARTIQ APP so we can see the live battery parameters, prior to shipping.  This is to ensure we comply with the ADR regulations when shipping dangerous goods by road.  IMPORTANT: PLEASE ENSURE THE BATTERY IS SWITCH OFF BEFORE REPACKAGING. 

PLEASE NOTE: If you do prefer to return ship the battery yourself, you will need to declare the package as Hazardous Goods Class 9. We recommend using either UPS, DHL or FEDEX as these are the only carriers that will accept Lithium Batteries. We strongly advise taking their insurance to cover the cost of the battery should it get lost or damaged during the return shipment. We reserve the right to levy a repacking/restocking fee should there be any damages to the packaging or supporting documentation when recieved.

All refunds shall be subject to the buyer providing proof of purchase.  LithiumPro Energy will refund the cost of your order excluding our original delivery costs of £50 plus any subsequent collection costs and if relevant, less any repacking costs applicable within 14 days of receiving the product.

WARRANTY
Upon inspection, if the product is found to be at fault we will offer you a replacement or a full refund of the original purchase price during the first 3 month period of ownership, thereafter  we will, at our sole discretion, repair or replace the battery with a like for like model.  Your warranty term will not be affected, and the term will continue from the original date of purchase.

If a returned product is found NOT to be faulty we will inform you in writing and ask you to collect your battery within the next 14 days. Alternatively, we can return your battery using our 3-5 day Hazardous courier service for a standard fee of £50. Should you not pay the return fee we reserve the right to dispose of your battery with no liability to you after 14 days of issuing the request for payment. 

Free Delivery

Delivery is free to all mainland UK, with the exception of NI, Scotland and the isles.  Our couriers charge a small premium to delivery to these locations.  This will be calculated at checkout based on your postcode.
