If you’re using a Victron MultiPlus, you’re not just using an inverter—you’re harnessing an exceptionally powerful and intelligent integrated charger. Unlike conventional 230V chargers which are typically limited to around 30A output, the MultiPlus leverages its advanced PowerAssist and adaptive charging technology to deliver charging currents of up to 120A. This is achieved by combining energy from both mains (shore or generator) and the battery bank, intelligently boosting available current when demand spikes. The MultiPlus dynamically adjusts charge profiles based on battery type and condition, ensuring optimal performance and battery longevity.
