Built on the proven platform of LithiumPro’s popular ARCTICXTREME 175Ah lithium leisure battery, the new ARCTICXTREME PRO takes the range to the next level.
The familiar low-profile DIN H8 design has been re-engineered to provide an exceptional 240Ah capacity and 3,072Wh of stored energy, while retaining the compact footprint that made the original ARCTICXTREME such a successful upgrade for motorhomes, caravans and campervans.
Now equipped with LithiumPro’s more powerful proprietary 250A BMS, the ARCTICXTREME PRO is designed for heavier inverter loads, demanding caravan motor movers and high-consumption off-grid systems. It also introduces a compelling high-capacity option for boats requiring a compact lithium domestic battery.
Advanced features include SMARTIQ Bluetooth monitoring, active balancing, pre-charge protection, automatic hibernation, remote power isolation, CAN bus communication and Victron DVCC integration—all in a battery weighing just 18kg.
The ARCTICXTREME PRO is not simply a larger battery. It is the latest development of the established ARCTICXTREME platform.
The current 175Ah ARCTICXTREME has earned a strong reputation for combining high usable capacity, powerful discharge performance and a direct-fit DIN battery case. The new PRO model builds on those strengths with:
For existing ARCTICXTREME owners, the PRO delivers substantially more stored energy and higher continuous output without moving to an oversized battery enclosure.
The LithiumPro ARCTICXTREME PRO is a high-capacity 12V 240Ah lithium leisure battery designed for motorhomes, caravans, campervans and marine leisure systems.
Its low-profile DIN H8 / LN5 / Group 49 case provides an impressive 3,072Wh of stored energy in the familiar footprint used by many 95–110Ah lead-acid and AGM leisure batteries.
Inside is LithiumPro’s proprietary 250A Battery Management System, providing the sustained current needed for large inverters, demanding onboard appliances and heavy-duty caravan motor movers.
Key features include:
A typical 110Ah AGM leisure battery should normally be discharged by no more than approximately 50% before sulphation starts to damage the battery, providing around 50Ah of regularly usable capacity.
The ARCTICXTREME PRO provides up to 240Ah of usable lithium capacity—approximately 4.8 times more usable capacity in a comparable battery footprint.
At only 18kg, it is also approximately 10kg lighter than a typical 28kg AGM battery.
That means considerably more time away from electrical hook-up, without sacrificing valuable storage space or adding unnecessary weight to your vehicle or boat.
The ARCTICXTREME PRO is engineered for modern, power-hungry leisure systems.
Its proprietary LithiumPro BMS delivers up to 250A of continuous discharge current, making it suitable for power hungry applications including:
The battery can support a 3,000W inverter when installed with correctly sized cables, protection and equipment.
The ARCTICXTREME PRO provides a major increase in off-grid capacity without requiring a larger battery compartment or having to reposition your battery.
Its DIN H8 footprint is suitable for many popular motorhome and campervan platforms, including:
With a 250A continuous-discharge capability, the ARCTICXTREME PRO is particularly well suited to caravans with high-current motor movers.
It can deliver the sustained current required by many heavy caravans with twin-axle movers, while also providing substantial capacity for lighting, refrigeration, heating controls and inverter-powered appliances.
Its NCC Class A classification identifies it as a high-capacity leisure battery intended for motorhomes and caravans frequently used without electrical hook-up.
The ARCTICXTREME PRO can also be used as a high-capacity marine leisure battery or domestic house-bank battery for suitable boats.
It can provide power for:
Marine installations must follow the battery’s specified environmental rating and installation requirements. Confirm suitability separately if the battery is intended for engine starting, propulsion or trolling-motor use.
The LithiumPro SMARTIQ app lets you monitor the battery from a compatible Apple or Android phone using Bluetooth 5.0.
View live information including:
Download SMARTIQ from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
The ARCTICXTREME PRO uses only traceable, QR-coded Grade-A LiFePO4 prismatic cells directly from top-tier global manufacturers. Selected and matched for capacity, voltage and internal resistance before assembly.
All ARCTICXTREME cells are rated for:
Actual service life depends on temperature, charging profile, depth of discharge, storage conditions and frequency of use.
LithiumPro’s proprietary BMS continuously monitors and protects the battery while providing several advanced industry-leading features:
The ARCTICXTREME PRO conforms to the familiar DIN H8 / LN5 / Group 49 case format:
This can make installation considerably simpler than fitting a larger custom battery system. However, all cables, terminals, fuses and isolation equipment must be checked for the intended current.
A correctly rated battery fuse should always be installed close to the positive battery terminal. See our guide to lithium battery fuses and MRBF fuse and holder.
The ARCTICXTREME PRO supports CCCV charging between 13.8V and 14.6V, making it compatible with many commonly installed motorhome, caravan and marine charging systems such as BCA, CBE, Dometic, Nordelettronica, Sargent, Schaudt, Truma, Victron and Votronic.
Using a dedicated lithium charger with a LiFePO4 profile, is recommend as it will charge faster and more efficiently, but it is not a requirement with LithiumPro batteries. See here for lithium chargers
The ARCTICXTREME PRO is registered and verified under the National Caravan Council leisure-battery scheme as a Class A high-performance leisure battery.
Class A is intended for motorhomes and caravans frequently used without electrical hook-up.
View the official NCC Verified Battery List.

After loads of research with regards to upgrading to Lithium, my biggest concern was having to completely change the charging system. I found the LithiumPro stand at the recent NEC show and I am so glad I did. Glen explained the difference between the cheaper batteries and also with the battery I was considering my original charging equipment should be able to cope. Overall Glen explained his product in the type of detail I needed to make my decision and bought a battery, even though it cost a lot more than I intended to spend. The quality and support is excellent and the installation was AGM out and Lithium in, no mods, etc. All seems to be working fine. I did have an issue with the App, but my fault. Glen was at the end of the phone and guided me through the connection process. I should have read the instructions. Overall really pleased with my purchase and the quality of the product is excellent. Its performing well and taken away the battery anxiety. Its also great to be able to speak to a person at the manufactuer if there is a problem. The battery fuse protects the wiring — not the devices connected to them. When replacing lead-acid batteries with lithium (LiFePO4), a suitably rated primary battery fuse is essential. Its critical role is to protect the system from catastrophic short-circuit events. Unlike lead-acid batteries, LiFePO4 cells have extremely low internal resistance and in a dead-short scenario the battery can release many thousands of amps almost instantaneously for a split second. Without adequate protection, this can vaporise cables, potentially resulting in fire. This means the fuse protecting your old lead-acid battery is no longer suitable. It will need replacing. You are likely to have a MEGA, MIDI or a BLADE fuse which are not appropriate for protecting Lithium batteries. MEGA, MIDI or BLADE fuses are ideal for use with Lead-acid batteries and protecting loads from chargers. But they do not have the right blowing characteristics to protect your system from the power of a lithium battery.
LithiumPro Batteries have very powerful and advanced Battery Management Systems (BMS) that are designed to protect against short circuit, reverse polarity and over current scenarios but this is NO substitute for having a correctly sized mechanical primary battery fuse in a dead short scenario.
Its critical the fuse has a fast-acting element and the appropriate Ampere Interrupt Capacity (AIC) designed to blow quickly and safely opening the circuit so the current can no longer flow. High quality MEGA and MIDI fuses only have a maximum AIC rating of 2000A which is not high enough to support lithium systems.
For safety and compliance, only use reputable fuse brands such as Blue Sea, Bussmann, Littelfuse, Mersen or Siemens with high AIC capacity ≥6000A. Never use cheap fuse alternatives from market places without datasheets. Original Equipment fuses will have the specification marked on the fuse itself. – High quality fusing is the most safety critical component in your whole electrical system.
Want to understand more about fusing READ MORE in our Essential Guide to Fusing Lithium Batteries
For our drop-in-replacement range of batteries with capacities up to 180AH we recommend the MRBF fuse kits as they can be secured directly to the positive battery terminal which offers the safest approach – by not leaving any cable exposed without being fused. They also have a high AIC rating of 10,000A which is essential to protect your system. Given the ‘drop-in-replacement’ range are often placed in height sensitive locations an ANL fuse & holder would also be an suitable alternative as long as it has and AIC rating of ≥ 6000A. Always check the fuses manufacturers datasheet for the Ampere Interrupt rating.
For our larger capacity batteries such as the 460AH-650AH we only recommend using a Class T or NH fuses.

Ensure you protect your lithium battery and the system by adding a high-quality primary battery fuse with the a suitable interrupt capacity. IMPORTANT: Only use notable brand fuses and not cheap fuses from various online market places.

Here at LithiumPro Energy, we pride ourselves on delivering products of the highest quality, backed by rigorous testing and internationally recognised certification.
All SMARTCOMM SERIES batteries have undergone full ECE R10 certification, including assessment of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and our manufacturing processes under Conformity of Production (CoP). This ensures every battery produced consistently meets the same high standards as the originally tested units. As a result, our products carry the E-mark (E24) approval, demonstrating compliance with European automotive regulations.
E-mark certification is essential for vehicle manufacturers and converters operating under Whole Vehicle Type Approval, providing confidence that our batteries can be integrated into compliant electrical systems without compromising safety or performance.
In addition to ECE R10, all LithiumPro Energy products are designed and tested to meet relevant UK and EU regulatory requirements, including UKCA, CE, RoHS, EMC, and RED directives, ensuring full legal compliance for sale and installation across these markets.
At cell level, we exclusively use high-grade LiFePO₄ prismatic cells sourced directly from Tier 1 manufacturers. These cells are certified to internationally recognised safety standards including UL1642, UL1973, and UL9540A, validating their performance in areas such as electrical safety, thermal stability, and fire propagation resistance.
To maintain full traceability and quality assurance, all cells are procured directly from manufacturers rather than through third-party distributors.
Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries are classified as Class 9 hazardous materials for transport. Therefore, all LithiumPro Energy batteries are tested and certified to UN38.3, ensuring they meet strict requirements for safe transportation by road, rail, and sea, including packaging, handling, and labelling standards.
