LithiumPro Energy Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Overview

LithiumPro Energy is committed to providing high-quality batteries. We offer a 5-year warranty for use within the UK & Europe on all LithiumPro batteries.

Warranty is effective immediately but must be activated upon installation by the installer. An online form must be completed with a record of where and how the battery has been installed with information regarding the charging sources submitted.  Once this information has been reviewed the end user will be issued a Warranty Certificate.

From the date of purchase, LithiumPro Energy will, at our sole discretion, repair or replace defective products free of charge, including parts and labour, for a period 5 years.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects or workmanship only. It does not cover:

  • Misuse, abuse, or accidental damage

  • Prolonged float charging or storage of battery at a low state of charge

  • General wear and tear

  • Damage caused by improper or lose terminal connections or undersized cable 

  • Damage caused by incorrect charging at a voltage or current that exceeds the recommended guidelines
  • Damaged caused by excessive over or under charging

  • Incorrect installation, storage, or charging outside manufacturer specifications

  • Use outside the intended application (e.g., engine starting or over-sized inverters/chargers)

  • Opening, tampering, or internal modification of the battery

  • Exposure to fire, water, high temperatures, or impact

  • Damages caused by reverse polarity, short circuits, or continued use after a fault is detected


2. Warranty Scope

  • Warranty is limited to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred.

  • Remedy (repair, replacement, or refund) is at our sole discretion.

  • We retain ownership of any parts removed during warranty service.

  • The warranty does not extend the original term.

  • All remedies are limited to the original purchase price of the battery.

  • Warranty covers only batteries charged with compatible LiFePO4 charging profiles (CCCV 13.8–14.6V) and excludes damage caused by incompatible lead-acid chargers or alternators without suitable DC-DC charging protection.

  • Batteries that have reached end-of-life due to normal use are not covered. Lifespan depends on application, use, temperature, storage, and charging conditions.


3. Bluetooth Disclaimer

Our batteries support Bluetooth connectivity; however, performance and range are affected by external factors beyond our control (interference, distance, obstacles, environment). LithiumPro Energy does not cover Bluetooth connectivity issues under warranty. Warranty only applies to the battery itself.


4. Making a Warranty Claim

Should you feel there is an issue with your battery please contact us as soon as possible as we maybe able to diagnose the issue with simple tests over the phone. However, should you need to make a warranty claim please contact our customer service team.  All warranty claims must be made in writing to: returns@lithiumpro.co.uk

Please fill out the form below:

  • Proof of purchase

  • Serial No of battery (example LPE-12105-150BT )

  • Date of installation

  • Installers details.

  • Details of the fault

  • Photos of the battery installation including cabling, chargers (IMPORTANT: warranty claim cannot be considered without this evidence)

  • You will be requested to email screenshots from the SMARTIQ APP (if the product has Bluetooth connectivity) to help diagnose any issue. Please send screenshots of  ‘STATUS’ screen, ‘BATTERY HEALTH‘ screen and the ‘DEVICE‘ screen.

  • Claims must be made within 48 hours of detecting a fault. Continued use may be dangerous and may void the warranty.


5. Non-fault Product Returns / Warranty Returns

5.1. Return Service (Recommended)

Lithium batteries are Class 9 hazardous goods, only CERTIFIED couriers can transport them (such as Fedex, DHL, UPS)

LithiumPro Energy offers a Secure Returns Service for warranty returns .

  • Complete the RMA form (DOWNLOAD HERE

  • You will be emailed instructions on how to package your return. 

  • Handling, documentation, and insured transport costs £50 (in addition to the original delivery fee if applicable) 

  • Product must be RETURNED IN ITS ORIGINAL UN38.3 complaint packaging.  Should this not be available the battery should be bubble-wrapped and placed in a sturdy box to prevent movement or any damage during transport.

  • You will be requested to email Images of the product before and after packaging when shipping.

5.2. Self-Return Option

If you prefer to return the battery yourself:

  • You must declare the package as Class 9 hazardous goods

  • Recommended carriers: UPS, DHL, FedEx

  • Insurance is strongly advised

  • LithiumPro Energy reserve the right to charge a 15% repacking/restocking fee if packaging or documentation is damaged of missing.


6. Faulty Battery Remedies

  • If a product is confirmed faulty under warranty, LithiumPro Energy at its discretion:

    • Repair, or Replace with same or equivalent model, or

    • Refund purchase price (if within first 12 months of purchase) 

  • Warranty term continues from original purchase date.


7. Non-Faulty Returns

If a battery is returned and found not faulty:

  • You will be notified in writing

  • You must collect the battery within 14 days

  • Alternatively, we can return it using 3–5 day hazardous courier service for a standard fee of £50

  • If fees are not paid within 14 days, we reserve the right to dispose of the battery.


8. Legal & Liability

  • Warranty repair/replacement is at our sole discretion

  • LithiumPro Energy shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages

  • Warranty is governed by the laws of England and Wales unless otherwise agreed in writing


9. Summary

  • Warranty covers manufacturing defects only

  • Does not cover misuse, damage, tampering, or improper charging/storage

  • Collection service available for Class 9 hazardous goods

  • Remedies limited to repair, replacement, or refund

  • Bluetooth functionality is excluded from warranty

Free Delivery

Delivery is free to all mainland UK, with the exception of NI, Scotland and the isles.  Our couriers charge a small premium to delivery to these locations.  This will be calculated at checkout based on your postcode.
