At LithiumPro, we design and engineer our own Battery Management Systems (BMS) rather than relying on generic, off-the-shelf solutions. This allows us to develop custom functionality tailored specifically to the needs of our markets.
One key innovation is our re-engineered BMS, designed to accept a broader voltage range, making our batteries a true drop-in replacement for lead-acid systems. As long as your existing lead-acid charger operates within 14.2V to 14.6V, our batteries will charge seamlessly—eliminating the need for costly charger upgrades.
This means you can upgrade to lithium power with minimal changes to your current setup, saving both time and money while enjoying the superior performance of LithiumPro batteries.
The SMARTCOMM SERIES sets the industry standard for safety features and technology. We were the first to incorporate Power Isolation on our products to aid safety during installation and maintenance.
Pre-Charge Protection is now built-In to our BMS keeping you and your system safe during connection with large inductive loads like inverters. LithiiumPro’s Active Balancing – Is built into the BMS as standard offering 1-5A precision balancing to keep your battery in optimal condition at all times.
Heated Cell Technology – Is fitted as standard on all SMARTCOMM SERIES batteries ensuring you can not only discharge in cold climates but also charge too.
CANBUS Connectivity – Again fitted as standard enables seamless ‘plug & play’ integration with Victron Ekrano and GX displays for full system control.
In our entire product range, we use only serviceable battery cases, making them fully repairable. Our design ensures easy accessibility, allowing for servicing and upgrades with the latest BMS technology. As technology evolves, you’ll stay up-to-date.
At Lithium Pro Energy, we prioritise the safety and quality of our batteries. That’s why all our Lithium Pro batteries have undergone thorough testing and certification, including CE, UKCA, ROHS, RED, and UN38.3. These stringent safety tests ensure that our batteries meet the highest industry standards. All SMARTCOMM SERIES batteries are E-marked TO ECE-R10 and have full Type-Approval for use by OEM’s.
As part of our quality control process, each battery undergoes a complete charge and discharge cycle before leaving our factory. This meticulous procedure ensures that every battery delivered to you is in optimal condition and ready to perform at its best.
By integrating cutting-edge Bluetooth 5.0 technology into our battery range users can effortlessly connect their battery to a smartphone or tablet. Once connected, our user friendly interface offers real-time data monitoring of becomes possible. Gain valuable insights into your power usage and battery performance.
Download the free SMARTIQ BMS App, available for both IOS and Android platforms, and unlock a world of live data monitoring. Keep track of vital information such as voltage, wattage, temperature, amps, State of Charge (SOC) and an array of other features.
Our advanced Bluetooth technology establishes seamless communication with the Battery Management System (BMS) on board the battery. In case of exceeding usage parameters, the BMS acts as a safeguard, issuing warnings and sending notifications to your device. When necessary, the BMS automatically shuts down the battery to protect itself
No special charger is required. Any normal lead-acid battery charger designed to output a Constant Voltage Constant Current (CCCV) charge profile, which 95% of chargers do, then this is fine and safe for LithiumPro batteries. Many battery chargers will have pre-programmed settings for different battery chemistries. For Lithium batteries, select the ‘LiFePO4’ or ‘LI-ion’ profile. If your charger doesnt have a Lithium profile then select the closest charge profile between 14.2-14.6v.
Of course, should you wish to upgrade you old charger to a lithium based charger, we would recommend this, as it will charge faster and more efficiently, whilst offering more enhanced protection features during charging, thus preserving the life of you battery.
You can charge your Lithium battery using any or all of the three simple ways listed below:-
1. Harness your alternator’s surplus power to deliver a steady 14.4v charge voltage. Click here for DC-DC Chargers
2. Using a MPPT Solar Charge Controller, you can charge your leisure batteries at a regulated voltage using your solar panels ability to harness the suns energy. Click here for Solar Charge Controllers
3 Using a Mains hook-up charger, you can use a domestic 240v electricity supply to charge you leisure batteries via hook-up or shore power. Click here for Mains Chargers
CLICK HERE for the Ultimate guide to charging your Lithium Battery
IMPORTANT: When you first receive your battery, fully charge it until you get a ‘Cell Over Voltage’ (COV) notification. This indicates the battery is fully charged. Then, complete a full discharge until you get a ‘Cell Under Voltage’ (CUV) notification, showing the battery is fully discharged. This process allows your Battery Management System (BMS) to calibrate the State of Charge (SOC) in your app. The BMS will then learn to provide more accurate data, understanding both the 0% and 100% charge parameters.
It is recommended to charge your battery at ≤0.5C (0.5 times the battery’s rated capacity). For instance, if the battery has a capacity of 100Ah, the recommended charging current would be ≤50 amps. Please observe the maximum charging capacity listed on your battery.
Your Lithium Battery with a Constant Current Constant Voltage charger CCCV with a LiFePO4 charging profile.
Absorption should be set to 14.2-14.6v (14.4v Optimal)
Float should be set to 13.5-13.9v
De-sulfation/Equalisation should be switched off
Most Victron chargers already have a Lithium charging profile. However, should you wish to personalise your settings, please use the following;
Absorption voltage: 14.4V
Absorption time: Recommended setting is half an hour per 100ah of LiFePO4 battery (for example if you have 2x 150ah batteries select 90mins).
Float Voltage: 13.5V
Equalisation voltage: This must be disabled on all Lithium batteries as this can damage the battery with pulses of high voltages. This is designed for lead acid batteries to add with desulfation.
Temperature compensation: This should also be disabled on Lithium batteries.
Charged Voltage: This is where your battery is considered fully charged – Lithium batteries should be set to 14.4V for Victron equipment.
Low Temperature cut-off: All Lithium Pro Batteries have low temperature charging protection built into the BMS. SMARTCOMM SERIES batteries all have cell heating technology so this function needs to be disabled.
Discharge Floor: 0%
Tail Current: This is the minimum current at which the Smart Shunt considers charging or discharging finished. We recommend 4%.
Peukert Exponent: Not required – this is for Lead Acid batteries.
Alternatively, you can download this file and import it directly into you Victron connect app.

ULTRAVOLT (NO-HEATER)
Yes our ULTRAVOLT and ARCTICXTREME batteries are all ‘Drop-In’ Lead-Acid replacements. They are exactly the same size and shape as your old Lead-Acid batteries with the exact same terminal posts, so there is not need to change your electrical connections. They even have the base rail at the base to safely secure your battery in place. No need to look for inventive ways to strap Chinese replacement batteries down. Click here for ‘Drop-In’ replacement batteries.
Yes, all LithiumPro Energy batteries can be connected in Series or Parallel to increase the voltage or capacity respectively.
Our SMARTIQ BMS APP with also be able to display your battery system parameters as a whole in both Series or Parallel configurations.
WARNING: Never connect Lithium batteries of different brands, capacities, or ages together. All brands have unique Battery Management Systems (BMS), and mixing can cause imbalances in charging or discharging, potentially leading to overheating and premature failure. NOTE: Always fully charge each battery separately before connecting them in series or parallel. LithiumPro batteries can be configured as follows:
For series configuration, ensure each battery is charged to within 0.05V of each other to prevent imbalances.
For parallel configurations, use cables that are as short and identical in length as possible; batteries naturally equalise in voltage when connected this way.
LiFePO4 chemistry is the most stable and reliable of all lithium technologies. If cared for correctly and used according to the manufacturers guidelines you should still be using your Lithium Pro battery in 10+ years time. LithiumPro Energy only use traceable Grade-A Prismatic cell technology in all of their batteries which are capable of over 4000-8000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge. Meaning if used every day it will last between 11 -21 years, and still retain 80% of their rated capacity. We are so confident of all our batteries they are covered by our comprehensive 5 year manufacturers warranty.
Yes, you can safely discharge your Lithium Battery down to temperatures as low as -20ºc However, in general Lithium batteries cannot be charged in temperatures below zero unless they have cell heaters embedded within the battery. All LithiumPro Batteries have a safety feature built into the battery to prevent it charging below 0ºc if they do not have cell heating technology. If you are using one of our SMARTCOMM SERIES batteries they are come with cell heaters built-in as standard Click here to see our ARCTICXTREME V2 Battery designed for charging in colder climates.

When connecting batteries together for communication via CANbus ports, use standard RJ45 cable to link them and terminate last battery with the RJ45 termination plug provided. See diagram here.
If you wish to connect your SMARTCOMM SERIES batteries to Victron GX, Cerbo or the Ekrano you will need to purchase a SMARTCOMM SERIES Cable.
LithiumPro SMARTCOMM SERIES batteries offer full Plug & Play integration with Victron via CANbus
CLICK HERE for more information how to connect your Victron equipment to LithiumPro batteries
The RJ45 termination adapter included with your battery is for when you are using CANbus to connect you batteries together in parallel. It enables the BMS in each battery to communicate with one another and to Victron equipment. If you are not using CANbus integration then this is not required, but do keep it safe for the possible future integration.
This switch is for optionally disabling and enabling the charging MOSFETS of the BMS remotely. This cable only works with V2 of the ARCTICXTREME.
When connected to RJ45 Port 1 and the switch is depressed this will disable all charging and discharging sources from the battery. You can use this when carrying out maintenance or just wish to stop all loads from consuming battery power. You will still be able to monitor the State of Charge , SOC, of your battery as the BMS will still be active.
If you wish to put your battery into long term storage 3-6 months we suggest using the BMS isolation switch at the top edge of the battery. This will also prevent all loads from draining the battery but will also shut the BMS down thus reducing power consumption to a minimum whilst in storage. Note: your app will not function in this state. The battery should be charged to 65-70% before isolating ready for storage.
With the newer version of the ARCTICXTREME & SEATBASE batteries we have included a longer Remote Power ON/OFF cable. This also switches of the power to the battery for putting it into hibernation. The power button is designed to be panel mounted for ease of access when isolating your battery for storage or maintenance.
The POWER button is for switching ON/OFF your battery.
When shipping your battery for the first time it will be shipped in ‘hibernation’ mode for safety. You will need to switch the battery on to start charging the battery.
The isolation button can be used to put your battery into long term storage 3-6 months. This will also prevent all loads from draining the battery but will also shut the BMS down thus reducing power consumption to a minimum whilst in storage. Note: your app will not function in this state. The battery should be charged to 65-70% before isolating and putting into storage.
Do not leave battery at 100% State of Charge in storage, this can reduce the lifespan of the battery.
Delivery is free to all mainland UK, with the exception of NI, Scotland and the isles. Our couriers charge a small premium to delivery to these locations. This will be calculated at checkout based on your postcode.

Gareth Mckee2025-05-26Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. So I had a lot of back and forth chat with Glen. He is very knowledgeable and interesting guy if you're into batteries. So I left my review a good while to test the battery. I bought the 175AH arcticxtreme V2. This fits into a standard (low profile) caravan locker. I actually get 182AH from it. So it's more than rated. I upgraded my solar to victron 175w and mppt. Then I upgraded my BCA charger from apuljack to lithium profile. Quote expensive really. But we have a coachman xcel and did suffer with AGM not lasting at all. Using the battery app I can see our movers pull 100 amps at times. No idea how the wires don't melt actually. Then the leveling. No wonder AGM batteries are not so good. Since moving to this I have never been near flat. Even running a coolbox fridge and no hook up for 4 days. No problem. The solar with this battery smash it easily. I would always use these batteries. I don't think you can match the case size Vs power output. Really solid product even in winter. Luke Poucher2025-04-10Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Purchased a battery from lithium pro 6 months ago and was the best investment for my motorhome. Even with the 105ah it gives plenty of power and paired up with a 2000w inverter it turned the van into a hassle free wild camping van. The customer service again was by fair the best, glen at lithium pro has always been a message away if needed. I am that happy with the product I have just recently bought a 280 seat base for my van to help with more extreme wild camping in cold temps. I have looked at other manufacturers including the big names you see and I can say there nothin compared to the quality lithium pro provides Safer Sussex2025-04-09Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is a fantastic bit of kit, durable, long life batteries and comes with first class, rock solid support. Would highly recommend Lithium Pro Energy batteries. William Lee2025-03-18Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had 105 lithium system fitted to my new bailey adamo 75-4i. System brilliant but bailey need to pull there finger out so it can be monitored on the moho panel. Thankfully there is a very impressive app that tells you all you need, including incoming voltage be it solar panel or mains hook up as well as draw off. After care is excellent slight issue sorted in minutes. Think I purchased the right system Amanda Leese2025-01-21Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This battery has changed my camping experience. I invested at the beginning of last spring. I wish I took the plunge years ago. I don’t have to think about whether I have enough juice so keep my fridge and lights going anymore. I can charge my gadgets, loads of lights on, fridge on with ice compartment. No more hooking up, I get more choice where I pitch up too. The app is brilliant. In the beginning I had a few questions , I just WhatsApp lithium pro and they text back instantly, even at weekends. The service if excellent. I’ve booked on more green camping sites now. I’m so thrilled with the over all experience and service. Well worth the money. Many thanks lithium pro Nathan Soles2025-01-10Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent costumer service, very responsive to any questions on WhatsApp, even at weekends. Super important to me, as I installed over the weekend before a big trip, all season, in Winter! Unsolicited follow ups to how I was doing 3 weeks later also, Which was very nice! The 460ah Enduravolt battery has performed flawlessly so far, in winter ski resort conditions. It has integrated very well and charges fast with Victron solar, AC/DC and DC/DC chargers. Also, has the required protections to change off any charger I'm informed.
